It is very unlikely that the average business will ever need bottom heat on their press. No standard heat transfers, sublimation transfers, heat applied vinyl cut letters or flock lettering ever needs bottom heat.

A bottom-heated press is most often used in laboratories and commercial industry to bond dissimilar materials.

As an example, one of our clients needed this press to cure the bonding agent holding two different types of metals together. Each metal required a different heat, to make the bonding agent between the two metals cure correctly.

The specs and information about this press is exactly the same as for the standard Digital Combo heat press. The only difference is that this press has bottom heat.

DK8/DKA-68BHT 6x8 Label Press and 6x8 Bottom heated table

The above two pictures illustrate the configuration of the 6x8 DK8 label press, with bottom heat.

Quite simply, the standard, lower unheated platform of the DK8 on the left is removed and the bottom heated 6x8 platform on the right is attached to the press. The press is usually shipped complete but it can be shipped as two components and you can attach it yourself.
