To our knowledge, "The Lexington" is the only swing-away heat press able to sublimate 36" lanyards in one pressing. With the use of jigs (easily produced by any local machine shop), clients report quickly sublimating up to 12 lanyards simultaneously.

We have also had several clients' report successfully sublimating (with careful layout) up to 4' x 10' polyester banners.

At 504 square inches, (manufactured exclusively for Alpha Supply Company), it is the largest swing-away press in the George Knight family of swing-away heat presses.

The DK1436S combines a heavy-duty solid steel, industrial grade, pressing framework and steel support stand, with accurate and easy to use electronics.

This 14"x36" heat transfer press provides the ability to transfer to unusually long or wide items, while maintaining an equal ability to transfer to "normal" sized items (even down to single 1" charms).

Utilizing a state-of-the-art control system and heavy-duty solid steel welded framework, this machine boasts a lifetime (of your ownership) warranty on the heat platen, and an unprecedented 3-year warranty on the heat-control electronics.

The heat platen uses SuperCoil-Microwinding™ heater technology, a system of embedded heater windings that wind tightly and closely together throughout the entire platen for extremely even heat, fast recovery and fast heat up times.

The effective working area of this press is 13x35, because you should always keep your work at least one-half inch from the outer edges of the press.

The controller utilizes an easy to read oversized-digit LCD display to show time and temperature simultaneously, and the temperature readout is accurate within +-2°. The controller also features a digital height/pressure gauge for displaying current height settings. The operator can use the 70 programmable presets for saving common application settings of Temp/Time/Pressure, ensuring consistent, repeatable results for all applications. The press is adjustable to accommodate materials from fabric thickness all the way up to 1" thick substrates.

While very effective and efficient, "The Lexington" is obviously also a very specialized heat transfer press and is used mostly for commercial applications.

Without exception, every customer who has purchased the DK1436S has needed one of two benefits. First, they have needed the ability to press unusually long or wide items. The second reason is because they have needed the ability to heat press many multiples of the same items.

In the latter case, the specific 14"x 36" size allowed them to transfer more of what they were doing, simultaneously, than the other press sizes.

In the case of "The Lexington", we suggest (as we always do) that you carefully consider what type of products you will be working with the most. If the DK1436S is not best suited for the primary work that you will be doing, consider another heat press.

The DK20S (16x20) is an excellent, all-round large heat press. The DK20JS (20x25) will fit most needs for a very large press.
